山星和向星
山星指坐山所在的飞星，向星指朝向所在的飞星。
当确定一个住宅为六运宅后，将六运的六白星放入中宫，其余的星飞布八方得到一个九宫图。这个住宅为子山午向，即是坐坎卦朝离卦， 对应九宫图，坎卦为二黑星，离卦为一白星，此时的山星为二黑星，向星为一白星。
在制作宅命盘时，只要将坐山的数字和朝向的数字放入中宫就能飞布宅命盘。
